Our good friend Victoria Topping worked her magic on Crazy P’s recent album release, ‘When we on.’ The artwork is piled high with Vix’s extraordinary use of layering, colour and perfectly executed shapes. Understandably, this beautiful piece took the reigns in Creative Reviews advance album cover of the month back in August.

Due to moving studios I missed making noise about the Donuts VS Swamp81 Records collaboration; the first in a series of t-shirts developed by Bristol’s finest street wear store and London based producer and founder of Swamp81, Loefah. With artwork from Ashes57, the simple yet highly effective block type pays tribute to the seminal Roland ‘808 / 909 / 727′ drum machines.

The t-shirt was limited to 100 and sold out before having a moments rest on the rails of Donuts. It was no surprise to get an email from Jamie asking us to produce a short run of t-shirts for friends and family.

It was an absolute pleasure to be involved in this first round and we’re holding on tight to see what these two power houses have up their sleeves for their next drop.

The line up for Weapon of Choices Christmas show is chocablock with Bristol’s finest collective of talent including household names 45RPM, Andy Council, Iain Sellar, Inkie, Rich T, SPQR to name a few.

Starting 2nd December through to mid January this is a show you should definately not miss.

Tom Bugs designs & builds some pretty unique analogue audio machines under the name BugBrand. Tom asked Chris Wright to conjure up something to celebrate his primary work focus – the BugBrand Modular, a complex synthesis system capable of generating a host of sonics from techno-rhythmic-powers and tonal-drones through to experimental-radiophonics and analogue-glitchyness. The system modules are patched together with banana cables to create the sounds, hence the large laughing plug!

Bake Designs celebrate their second birthday this month and bring you this full colour photo print tee. The t-shirt pays homage to Buzz Aldrin; the second man to touch down on the moon and includes the words ‘Sometimes second isn’t so bad’ across the shoulders.

Crazylegs is 3 tomorrow night and they have prepared one handsome line up for you, including the likes of Roy Davis Jr, Joy Orbison and many more alongside Bristol’s finest Kelly Twins. A mere £10 sounds like a road block to me.
